Where to buy Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 – stock updates as they happen

CCL also has the following package in stock:

This bundle contains the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 GAMING X TRIO 16GB Graphics Card and MSI MPG A850GF 850W 80 PLUS Gold Power Supply for £1,546. That’s a decent amount, especially since many people upgrading to the RTX 4080 may need to get a new PSU to power the card as well, so this could save you some money.

CCL Online in the UK also has RTX 4080s in stock:

Fortunately, Newegg’s stock appears to be holding up. Here are some great prices I just found:

Back to the US, and right now, Micro Center appears to only have RTX 4080 stock in store, rather than being available online, so it’s worth checking to see if there’s a store near you with stock. This was a handy way to get an RTX 4090 when other online retailers were out of stock.

The cheapest RTX 4080 models that we found on Overclockers (and are still available) are:

Back in the UK, Overclockers UK has a lot of RTX 4080 stock apparently.

More Newegg RTX 4080 Stocks in US:

The following models are available from Newegg:

Best Buy appears to be out of stock in the US despite many of them saying “coming soon.” Keep an eye out for the Asus NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X for $1,549 as it’s coming soon.

ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB TUF Gaming for £1,269 is in stock, but selling out fast.

The UK crawl has a few!

Best Buy in the US still has their RTX 4080s as “Coming Soon”…

OK offers are now active! Let’s see where you can get the RTX 4080 from…

It’s much larger than the RTX 3080 and roughly the same size as the RTX 3090 and 3090 Ti, so make sure your PC has enough space to install this three-slot GPU.

I have the RTX 4080 installed on which I will be testing creative apps later this week. It’s a great GPU!

And here are the UK dealers:

Amazon in the US and UK doesn’t appear to be showing the RTX 4080 at the moment. Hopefully that will change in a few minutes.

We’re now 13 minutes away from the RTX 4080 going on sale, and I’ll keep you posted with stock updates as they arrive. For quick access here are the US retailers you should check first:

Incidentally, I know that looks aren’t everything when it comes to GPUs, but Palit GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in a new tab) looks pretty cool to me. Maybe he’ll be better looking in real life, but the shots on Box’s website make him look a little cheesy, which at £1,399.99 he most definitely isn’t.

In the UK, retailer Box appears to have a large selection of RTX 4080 models (opens in a new tab) to choose from.

They vary in price, with the Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in a new tab)Palit GameRock Midnight Kaleidoscope GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in a new tab)and Palit GameRock OmniBlack GeForce RTX 4080 (opens in a new tab) being the cheapest. They will go on sale at 2pm GMT for £1,399.99.

So when I say “cheaper,” I mean they’re still going to be damn expensive.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000

Nvidia’s website is a good way to see stock levels of a variety of RTX 4080 flavors. So, not just Nvidia’s default Founders Edition, but also variants made by the likes of PNY, Asus, MSI, and more.

Also get prices and ideas on where to buy the RTX 4080s. Both the Nvidia UK RTX 4080 (opens in a new tab) and Nvidia US RTX 4080 web pages are now online.

They are definitely worth keeping open.

Some resellers have also made it so that only people on the waitlist can purchase GPUs.

For example, B&H made its stock RTX 4080 “Waiting List Only” (opens in a new tab). This means that only people who have signed up for stock alerts will be able to buy one.

The good news is that it’s free and easy to do just that: click the ‘Notify when available’ button and add your details to join the waitlist.

One of the best things you can do while waiting for the RTX 4080 to go on sale is prepare yourself before the stock is released. Have the reseller pages at the top of this page open in preparation. You may find in your rush to buy an RTX 4080 that websites block and won’t let you in, so it’s essential to have them open and ready to go ahead of time.

The price means it’s not too far off the RTX 4090 when it comes to price. So, if you’re spending that much money anyway, should you skip the RTX 4080 and opt for the RTX 4090 instead?

While that’s what I’d recommend to many enthusiasts, there’s one problem: the RTX 4090 remains extremely difficult to purchase. Without being able to get stock of the RTX 4090, the RTX 4080 will be (at least for a few hours today) the best GPU you can buy right now.

However, we expect the RTX 4080 to sell out quickly, so you’ll need to be quick.

While we wait for the RTX 4080 to go on sale in a few hours, be sure to check out our Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 review.

To be honest, it’s been a tough GPU to review. While it’s arguably one of the best graphics cards out there and performs amazingly in games (surpassing the mighty RTX 3090 Ti), it’s also incredibly expensive. Retailing for around $1,299 / £1,269 for the Founders Edition, it’s significantly more expensive than the RTX 3080.

The day is here! The Nvidia RTX 4080 is now on sale! The good news is that while it is selling out quickly, there is still stock available at select retailers in the US and UK.

We’ll be releasing this live blog to highlight wherever there’s stock, giving you the best chance to get hold of the new GPU.
