Nintendo Direct September 2022: all announced

My friends, the day has finally come. A brand new Nintendo Direct is here and is preparing to give us 40 minutes of new updates on the Nintendo Switch games that launch this winter and potentially beyond (!). Nintendo’s September Direct is generally pretty big, so there should be some interesting news for fans around the world.

The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is called The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and will be released on May 12, 2023

Yes, on May 12, 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on Nintendo Switch.

Pikmin 4 will finally arrive in 2023

While we haven’t learned much about it, Shigeru Miyamoto stopped by Nintendo Direct to announce that Pikmin 4 will finally be released on the Switch in 2023. This news has been on the way for a long time as Miyamoto previously claimed the game was “very close. upon completion “in 2015.

Fire Emblem Engage has been announced as a new main game and includes Marth

Fire Emblem Engage is the next main entry in the Fire Emblem series and will follow a story set a thousand years after four realms sealed off the great evil known as Fell Dragon. In Engage, players will become a divine dragon called Alear who must work to collect the emblem rings to “restore peace to the Elyos continent”. During your journey, you may also have other previous Fire Emblem characters joining your party such as Marth and Celica.

Fire Emblem Engage will be released on Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2022.

Octopath Traveler 2 has announced new heroes and the same wonderful art style

Octopath Traveler 2 will be released on February 24, 2023 and will bring with it a whole new group of heroes and a whole new story to experience, all with the same wonderful art style that sets the original apart from other JRPGS.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is a celebration of the franchise’s music and will be released early next year

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is the latest celebration of the franchise’s music and is a first in the series that started on 3DS. This new game will feature over 385 tracks and will allow two players to play locally and up to four players online. It will also have a season pass that will add 90 new songs, including some by Nier, Octopath Traveler and Live a Live.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line will be released on Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2023.

Goldeneye 007 (with online play!), Mario Party and Pokemon Stadium lead the pack of new N64 games headed to Switch

Nintendo has revealed some upcoming games that will soon be added to Nintendo Switch Online, and perhaps the most exciting is Goldeneye 007. If that wasn’t exciting enough, Goldeneye will also include online play. In addition to Goldeneye, Pilotwings, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, 1080 Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 will join the service in 2022 and 2023.
